Dr. Thom Bober has been a practicing Chiropractic physician on Cape Cod for over twenty years.
Dr. Bober was born and raised in Framingham, Massachusetts. He attended Framingham public schools and graduated from the former Framingham South High School. During his youth he was active in a variety of activities. He played soccer and basketball at varying levels and became co-captain of his high school basketball team. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He is an Eagle Scout and attended both the 1985 National Jamboree and the Philmont Scout Reservation in Cimarron, New Mexico. His experiences in Scouting began a lifelong passion for hiking and climbing mountains. He began playing trumpet at the age of ten and began performing professionally at the age of 14. He continues to play across Cape Cod and the Islands.
He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 1991 with a B.S. in Mathematics. He was active in many musical ensembles at WPI and toured across much of Europe and United States performing both jazz and classical music. Upon graduation, he took a sabbatical to solo, bicycle across the United States. Beginning in Sequoia National park in California and finishing in Framingham, this trip crossed over 3800 miles and took almost three months.
He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1996.
He established his practice in Osterville in 1997, moving to his present location in 2002.

His practice is divided between two primary goals: 1. eliminate pain, 2. lose weight. In advancing the most current technologies available to accomplish these goals, he has brought an array of cutting-edge modalities and laboratory assays to the Cape. He has seen how lifestyle, dietary habits and supplementation can transform his patients. He works to coach and inspire his patients to take greater and greater participation in their own recovery.
He divides his time between homes in Cummaquid and Waterville Valley, NH where he enjoys spending time with his wife Susan and son Joseph. He is an avid hiker and mountain climber. He climbs year round and holds his current long distance record at 43.7 miles of continuous climbing (18 hours, 47 minutes).
He gardens with abandon, starting as many as 34 varieties of heirloom, organic tomatoes in his greenhouse and husbanding them to maturity each fall.
